Here is the very act Mr. Clark presented at the top nightspots. He
presented this act at the famous RAINBOW ROOM and LOEW’S
STATE THEATRE on Broadway! Clark opened his act with cigarettes,
went into his rope routine, and finished with his silk act. Each routine is
presented in a separate book.
• SILKS SUPREME!
Performer catches a symphony pattern silk at the fingertips and then
catches a second Symphony silk. The two silks are knotted together
and tossed into the air. A third silk appears tied between them. The
three multiply into six! Clark’s version of Sympathetic Silks is presented.
Then, as a finale, the silks multiply again and again, until thirty silks have been produced! For special silks, see K-24 on the next page.
• ROPE ROYALE!
Performer cuts a rope into three separate pieces, knots them together,
and upon command the rope is fully restored.
• CELEBRATED CIGARETTES!
Performer catches several cigarettes by the fingertips, and then changes
a cigarette into a silk. Next, cigarettes are produced from the silk, and one penetrates the silk. More productions are executed, and then a cigarette is
vanished from the performer’s fingertips! The cigarette changes into a cigar,
and then a burning pipe appears at the performer’s fingertips! The profession’s
most famous cigarette act!
